Details
The frame is a custom Rad Rides by Troy in Manteno, IL. Modifications include boxed milled steel rails, tubular, reinforced, narrowed 10' in the rear, chopped 1' by Sam and Chip Foose, windshield laid back 2', backlight leaned forward 2', door handles and trim removed, reshaped running boards and fenders, channeled 3'. Transmission is 96 B&M TH350. THe engine is a '67 CHevy V8 with 327 displacement. On the inside there is a 1200 watt, Pioneer head unit & CD changer, Orion amps and 12 Orion speakers, Vintage air conditioning with Sandan 508 compressor. Its list of awards include 1996 Detroit Autorama, Ridler Top 8 contender, 2nd place radical, Custom Rod Coupe. 1996 Madison, Wisconsin World of Wheels Car Show it took Outstanding Custom Rod, Outstanding Detail, Outstanding Interior, Outstanding Engine and Best Paint for Show. 1996 Goodguys Indy Boyds Pro's Pick, Street Rod Magazine Top 10, 'Shades of the Past' Car of the Year, Hot Rod Magazine Top 10 of 1996.
