Details
This low-mileage El Camino was first purchased by a San Francisco Bay Area couple to occasionally pull a small wooden Chris Craft boat. After the boat was sold in the 1980's, a nephew borrowed the truck and smashed the right front fender. The El Camino was then parked in its garage, bad fender and all, where it sat for years. The second owner bought it with 36,000 original miles, fixed the fender, and installed a Chevelle SS hood. Chevrolet didn't make an El Camino SS in 1967; this is an El Camino Custom model. The third owner installed the current wheels and had the El Camino repainted to its original, correct Marina Blue color. I have been in contact with all previous owners, except the first (they are no longer with us), to confirm the car's history! Except for the hood, fender, wheels, kick panels, and paint job, this is as original, tight, and quiet an El Camino as you will find, now showing 61,000 original miles!
