Details

This Cadillac 1183B is the first dual cowl Phaeton produced in 1929, body number 1. The vehicle has undergone a recent restoration, including paint, chrome and interior. The folding top and interior upholstery work was completed by Ken Nemanic of Walnut Creek, California. This vehicle is fitted with optional wire wheels and running board mounted spotlight. The 341 cubic inch Cadillac engine produced 90 BHP at 3,000 RPM and is one of the 90 V8 configurations. The 1929 Cadillac 3 speed gearbox was the first mass produced synchromech transmission, making this large 140' wheel base vehicle. Easy to drive as well as smooth running.
