This Pacer convertible is one of only 1,876 produced. Under the hood is a 361cid V8 uniquely dubbed the E400 denoting its prodigious 400lb-ft of torque. These innovative cars also featured electronically actuated push-button transmissions that locked when in 'Park', self-adjusting brakes, electronic hood release, floating speedometer with glowing speed limit warning, an a host of other features that weren't seen on other cars at the time and the likes of which can still be found in cars today. This Edsel is finished in optional two-tone Snow White and Coral Sunset over a matching white and coral interior. It is also equipped with the optional and desirable color-keyed spinner hubcaps, back up lights, sun visors and the cool Teletouch push-button transmission. The car has been fully restored from the fully finished undercarriage to the pristine white soft top. A spectacular show piece that is surely among the nicest in the county. This is truly a unique car that no serious collection can be without.
