Details
A complete ground up restoration was completed on this super sport using as many original parts as possible including the entire California emissions system (smog pump). Eqipped with the original matching numbers 325 horsepower 396 engine this Chevelle is the 11th one produced for 1967 and probably the earliest one known to still exist. Built at the Fremont, California plant, other factory options include: turbo 400 transmission, black vinyl roof, power brakes, power seering, bucket seats, centermounted console shifter and immaculate Sierra Fawn paint. Owned by the second owner since 1971 this is a true two owner supersport. When entered into two 1000 point shows this Chevelle scored 984 and 996 points and earned gold certificates both times, with a subsequent feature in the July 2003 Chevy Times Magazine. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer Chevelle restored to this level anywhere. With its West Coast origins and two owner history coupled with the low production date and unique color combination this is one truly rare and unusual supersport.
