67C Convertible Phaeton is truly a piece of automotive history. There were 256 1935 67C Phaetons built. From old World War II pictures, this body style appeared to be a favorite for Generals to use in Europe for parades. There are very few surviving 67C cars. The project was started when the automobile was found in a private collection and purchased. It was important to find a complete and solid car to restore. The Phaeton more than fit the bill. The owner wanted to have a pro-built Resto-Rod that would have the attributes and conveniences of a new car but the styling of the 30's 6-wheel car. A lot of research was done to assure proper performance and modern conveniences for the 5000lb Phaeton. The Buick was fitted with a big block Chevy motor with Street and Performance Fuel Injection, 4-speed automatic transmission, aluminum radiator with custom shroud, power disc brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, tilt wheel, aluminum gas tank and coilover adjustable shocks just to name a few of the options. This is a rare find that will be a welcomed addition to any collection and a fabulous automobile to drive and have fun with family and friends.
