My five years of ownership of this 1986 Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Spider have been exclusively as an enthusiast with casual driving of 2,000 miles annually. The Alfa Romeo Owner's Club technical assistance has provided me with confidence that I have properly sorted out all mechanical systems. There is a lifetime warranty I have on the Italian 1' lowering on the suspension. The car's handling matches the original engineered level suspension benefiting aftermarket oversize wheels per that $1,000 USA import bumper retro-installation at a national franchise facility. All of the rest of the car has been maintained as stock. I have all original equipment cosmetic only. Exception is the wooden vs. USA collapsing Alfa steering wheel, mahogany shift knob and interior security battery cut-off I added. The famous Franklin Mint prior owner added a car alarm, higher wattage stereo and vinyl replacement convertible top. I'm including factory matching red hardtop not seen in photos.
