Details
Total body-off, frame-off rotisserie restoration. There wasn't a pinhole of rust or previous repair when it was taken down to bare metal. The car came from San Diego, CA. It has correct matching numbers 283/270hp engine, dealer-installed 4-speed transmission, power steering and Continental kit. It is painted with the correct lacquer paint. The last three numbers in the head casting numbers for a 270hp engine were 997, and they became known as 997 heads. The only application for these heads
was the 270hp engine, and they are now extinct. They also have a dual point distributor, which is hard to find. A Duntov 30/30 cam with solid lifters, Bat Wing air cleaners, deep grove pulleys and, of course, 2x4s.
