This is a Monterey Woody styled wagon with real wood panels on side and tailgate. The interior and exterior have been done in the original color. It is very rare to have all three seats and in overall good condition. Recently restored in 2014. This Monterey station wagon was Mercury's most expensive vehicle in 1955 costing a buyer more than $2,600 dollars. The 1955 Mercury Monterey station wagon boasts an overhead valve V8 292/188hp engine. 4-barrel carburetor 3-speed Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission, coil springs independent front suspension 118' wheelbase.
Restored in 2014 with real wood panels on side and tailgate. Very rare all three seats. Interior and exterior done in original color. Automatic transmission.
