This convertible has the original, authentic and documented matching-numbers 427/390hp engine with the original broach marks and VIN on the stamp pad. It has a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Documented with the NCRS shipping data report, it was delivered new to Van Chevrolet. A very early production car, it has VIN 00201 with a production build date of September 6, 1966. It has undergone a beautiful ground-up, nut-and-bolt restoration with extreme attention to detail. Finished in stunning Tuxedo black with a red stinger stripe, it features a black interior and a black convertible top. It's also equipped with matching-numbers intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, alternator and rear end. Options include leather, dual side-mount exhaust and aluminum bolt-on wheels on correct 7.75x15' Firestone bias-ply red line tires, AM/FM radio, posi-traction rear end and tinted glass.
