This very rare Cougar XR-7 is equipped with the legendary R-code 428ci CJ engine with Ram Air and automatic transmission. This sleeper is documented with a Deluxe Marti Report. It is one of only 504 Cougar XR-7 hardtops produced in 1969 that were factory-equipped with the Cobra Jet engine, and one of two with the same options. Besides the extremely desirable engine, this sports a C6 automatic transmission, Traction-Lok differential with 3.00 gears, Whisper Aire air conditioning and power front disc brakes. Interior features include AM/FM stereo, Light Nugget Gold leather bucket seats, console and tinted glass.
