This 1958 Corvette convertible underwent a body-off restoration nearly 25 years ago and has a rust-free chassis. It’s finished in new, correct Snowcrest White acrylic lacquer paint and is one of 2,477 made in this color. This Corvette is powered by its original matching-numbers 283/270hp engine with dual-quad carburetors and stainless exhaust, and a rebuilt matching-numbers BorgWarner 4-speed manual transmission. It has a hardtop only. All of the exterior side stainless-steel pieces are NOS GM, not reproduction parts. This ‘Vette has had the same owner for almost 30 years and was the recipient of an NCRS Top Flight Award in 1993 with a score of 97.1. It has been sparingly driven and well cared for since its restoration. Of the 9,168 Corvettes built in 1958, 978 were built with the 270hp option.
