Details
This March 1967 production, Chevrolet Corvette coupe retains its matching-numbers drivetrain, and has been in the second owner’s possession since 1979. This car was optioned from the factory with the 427ci big-block engine, which was rated at 390hp. It was further optioned with a close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission with a 3.55 posi-traction differential. A body-off restoration was completed in 2012 with a Goodwood Green exterior finished and a white Stinger. This Corvette includes much of the original green vinyl interior, including the dash pads and door panels. Telescopic steering column, power brakes and power steering conveniences were added during restoration for drivability. As part of its provenance, its original Tank Sticker and Protect-O-Plate are included in the sale, along with a 3” binder of maintenance receipts and ownership documentation going back to day one. Other notable original options verified on the Tank Sticker include the red stripe tires, AM/FM radio and tinted glass.
