This all-steel 1949 Studebaker custom pickup is powered by a 392ci Chrysler HEMI engine backed by a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission built by Gene Buckland. It's equipped with dual big 4-barrel carburetors on top of an aluminum intake manifold. The exterior features the Bentley-style headlight design, Buick 'Venti-Ports' in the hood and custom 'Surf Blanket' Native American-pattern seat covers. Finished in a custom orange with pinstripes, it features chrome Baby Moon hubcaps with raised-white-letter tires. From The Laymon Family Collection.
