Car drives excellent, this slant 6 can burn rubber. The GT was the top of the line Dart in 1963. Original gas gauge and water temperature unit are intact but not working. An aftermarket temperature gauge and amp gauge are installed under the dashboard. New water pump and new master brake cylinder. Original AM radio is intact. No rust anywhere on the car and chrome is shiny. Top and windows all work well. Top is light and operates easily by hand. Factory hubcaps are in great condition. Dart GT emblems are on each of the interior doors. Darts have generous trunk space for its overall compact size. The car's styling features include prominent headlight bezels that protrude slightly from the fenders and grille, creating a look that resembled the Chrysler Turbine car. Comes with owner's manual and both of the black license plates which were originally on this car. Dodge touted the slant 6 engine with the following description, slanting the engine on its side allowed a lowered hood line and more importantly, permitted the use of an extra long intake manifold. Dodge called the longer manifold a "semi-ram" effect which provided both better performance and fuel economy. Exhaust pipes are also on graceful long curves extending away from the wedge-shaped combustion chambers. With the top down and with this Dart's striking red color, you will receive great attention and have immense pleasure cruising.
