Description
The 1941 Willys Coupe is often thought of as the ultimate street rod. This car is the end result of a Rod & Custom project that has been documented in the publication since 1997.
Custom built by master builder Warren Boughn at Precision Street Rods & Machines. The body and custom frame are by Otlaw, the one-off induction system is by Craig Railsback with help from BDS and Hiborn. The one-off rear end is by Halibrand, as are the unique wheels. Victor Zuniga did the interior using only Connolly leather. The monster 426 Hemi is by Dick Landy and the paintwork by Gary Baca, who came out of retirement to paint the car.
It has been a multiple show winner and is currently licensed and street legal.
