Description
This is a beautiful piece of muscle car history. A rare 1969 AMC AMX with the optional 390/325hp Go Pak. The car was restored to factory condition. It has been garage kept and rarely driven since. Fully rebuilt engine, transmission, brakes and suspension with all documentation to prove it. There are a few upgrades like the ignition coil but the car is 99% stock. It has the original 390cid engine and BrogWarner T-10 4-speed transmission with Hurst Shifter. The VIN and door tag verify this is a true X Code car. It is a beautiful Bittersweet Orange and the door tag verifies this is the original color. The paint shines very nice. The is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car. The car came from Southern Oklahoma. It was restored so meticulously that even original AMC clock parts were used instead of quartz. The dash tag is number 8,027 of 8,293 produced in 1969. Only 3,620 were made with the 4-speed. Of those, only a handful were Bittersweet Orange, making this car extremely rare. The car runs and drives great. No smoke, no leaks, no vibrations, just smooth AMC power. It is very fast and handles well for a car from this era. All gauges, lights and accessories work including the original AM radio. The car has been loved and pampered its entire life. This is an excellent car in every respect and needs nothing to drive and enjoy right now.
