I. Overview

The following media credential guidelines were established to provide an overview of the procedures followed by Barrett-Jackson in processing media credential requests and a clear understanding of the guidelines for media access at event sites.

II. Eligibility

Barrett-Jackson will issue media credentials to members of the working press only. By definition, a member of the working press shall be a paid employee or representative of a known and established media organization (newspaper, magazine, television, radio, web site, etc.). Journalists who receive credentials must be on assignment for a specific media organization at each event. All journalists who wish to attend Barrett-Jackson events must submit a media credential application pursuant to this policy and the guidelines stated on the Barrett-Jackson website at www.barrett-jackson.com. Freelance journalists must be on assignment at the specific event or must submit a media credential application indicating the scope and purpose of the requested coverage. Organizations may request more than one media credential; however, Barrett-Jackson does not guarantee more than one credential will be awarded per organization.

III. Application Deadlines

Media credential applications must be received by Barrett-Jackson by the established deadlines set for each event. Barrett-Jackson cannot guarantee that journalists who submit their applications after the deadline will be accommodated.

Applying for a credential in no way guarantees that you will receive a credential. At some events, space may be limited and only a certain number of media credentials will be issued.

IV. Credential Acceptance

Barrett-Jackson encourages all media to attend Barrett-Jackson events. However, if there is a limitation on the number of credentials issued for a specific event, Barrett-Jackson will consider the following criteria, in order of significance, when issuing approval:

• Media organizations with a large daily circulation and/or a large national audience.
• Local media in the host city and relevant specialty media.
• Media outlets which attend Barrett-Jackson events on a regular basis.
• Applications which are received by the deadline date.

V. Credential Usage

Credentials must be worn at all times. Each media credential is issued specifically for the journalist who was accepted through the credential process. Any media outlet that wishes to change the name(s) of their credentialed journalist(s) may do so, in writing, prior to the beginning of an event. Credentials may not be given or loaned to another person for any reason. Credentialed journalists will receive free admission to the event and access to media work areas at the event venue, as well as any other areas where media accreditation is provided access. A media credential does not guarantee access to the auction block. Barrett-Jackson is committed to providing a professional working environment for all media.

Misuse of a Barrett-Jackson media credential will result in the immediate loss of the credential, removal from the media areas and the possible loss of credential privileges for future events for the journalist and his/her organization.

VI. Interview Policy

Barrett-Jackson will provide opportunities for the media to interview requested individuals. Any interview requests from automotive media should be directed to Sanaz Marbley 818.992.4353 at JMPR Public Relations or smarbley@jmprpublicrelations.com or Lexi Savage at Tilson PR at 561.843.1281 or asavage@tilsonpr.com. All other media should direct requests to Nichole Lopez 480-421-6694 or media@barrett-jackson.com

VII. Photographers

Photographers wishing to cover Barrett-Jackson events must be on assignment from a recognized news organization and be using professional camera equipment. All photographs taken at the event are to be used solely for use by the publication for which an individual is credentialed, unless he/she is otherwise granted express written consent by Barrett-Jackson. Without such consent, it is strictly prohibited for any photograph taken in association with the event to be used in any manner by, or in association with, any publication other than that publication for which the individual is credentialed. Photographs taken at this event are not to be sold to any other media outlet, organization or individual unless permission is granted by Barrett-Jackson. Failure to comply with the above regulations will result in the immediate loss of credential privileges for all future Barrett-Jackson events for the photographer. Additionally, the media outlet listed will lose the ability to credential a photographer at future Barrett-Jackson events.

VIII. Television Coverage and Videotaping

Barrett-Jackson has granted SPEED Channel the exclusive broadcast rights to the Barrett-Jackson events in Scottsdale, Arizona; Palm Beach, Florida; Orange County, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Television stations wishing to cover Barrett-Jackson events are restricted from recording the auction venue during live auction hours, but may participate in the event by adhering to the Barrett-Jackson Television Guidelines below.

IX. BARRETT-JACKSON TELEVISION GUIDELINES

In accordance with SPEED Channel's exclusive rights to broadcast Barrett-Jackson events, the following guidelines and restrictions must be adhered to by all television stations or other film crews:

Venue Access - Auction Hours

No camera crews other than those of SPEED Channel will be allowed inside the auction venue during live auction hours. Live or taped television coverage of the live auction will not be permitted. Television stations or other camera crews may be on the event grounds at the time of auction only with advance permission, and may not interfere in any manner with SPEED Channel's broadcast of the event at any time.

For news purposes only:

The SPEED bug must be present at all times and "compliments of SPEED CHANNEL" must be displayed on the footage.

OFFSITE: Television news organizations can gain access to SPEED coverage by accessing the front haul on DIRECTV or through local cable. This coverage may ONLY be used for legitimate news coverage. The SPEED bug must be present at all times and "compliments of SPEED CHANNEL" must be displayed on the footage.
