Description
Lot #359.2 - Purchased from Joe Bortz (Dream Car fame) who admits, was first attracted to the car because of the unique Wind Wings by Wall Mfg., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I completely restored the car over the next 2 1/2 years. Upgraded to 12 volts, alternator, electronic ignition, it starts at the mere touch of the starter button, cold or hot, and the lights are Bright! Powered by a rebuilt 59A-B 100 horsepower engine and Patrick's Hi-Speed rear end, the shocks were converted to tube type for a truly stable ride. Runs cool and is equipped with an electric radiator fan for parades and other slow hot weather driving. Has rare, original Heart shaped wiper motor and banjo steering wheel. Interior, convertible top, side curtains and boot by Lebaron Bonney. Other accessories include rear trunk rack, correct side view mirrors, front bumper guard and fog lights which now serve as the front turn signals.
