Lot #656 - Custom-built, all-steel Resto-Mod designed for comfort, safety and performance. The firewall has been double-plated with aluminum and the floorboard with stainless steel, with insulation in between. All the interior has aircraft-type fire-resistant insulation, making it much cooler, as well as quieter. Also installed Vintage Air Gen-II for cold air and warm heat. Power steering, windows, seat and locks, with remote for windows and locks. Flaming River polished stainless-steel tilt steering column, with Billet Specialties leather-wrapped Banjo steering wheel. Sitting in the custom steel center console is the Pioneer CD stereo, Bluetooth, six speakers, amp sound system, and with 12-volt power plug and lighter. Storage is available in glove box as well as the center console. Gauge package is the all-new design by Dakota Digital; VHX is an awesome self-contained unit that includes all your gauges, turn signals and high/low beam. It fits beautifully in the original Ford oval gauge opening. Also features cruise control. Comfortable ride and handling comes from steel-belted radials, Heidts tubular A-arms with double adjustable coilover shocks up front. In the rear is Chassis Engineering 4-link suspension with double adjustable coilover shocks from Strange Engineering. Serious stopping power comes from Wilwood Dyna-Lite Pro series disc brakes pushed by Hydratech Braking Systems - a high-performance hydraulic brake assist booster - far more stopping power than achieved from vacuum boosters. Parking and emergency brake power comes from E-STOPP, a SEMA and NSRA 2012 Product of the Year award winner. It doubles as an anti-theft device, as it locks down by hidden switch. Two kill switches are also hidden for safety, as well as to help battery draw-down during storage. Three-point seatbelts hold you firmly in place. Stainless steel 20-plus-gallon fuel tank means you can travel a good distance between gas stations. Performance comes from a professionally built 347 Ford small block with 400+hp, cooled by an aluminum Griffin radiator. March billet aluminum pulley system, Edelbrock aluminum intake and heads, breathing through Patriot ceramic-coated headers. Electronic Fuel Injection with MSD electronic box and coil. Ford 9" rear end, Tremec TKO 5-speed. An overdrive gear of .64 and the 31.5" Goodyear Eagle tires mean quite low rpm cruising. Exterior paint is Dupont Pure Black. The original grille was removed and chrome-plated. Headwinds front lights are cut from a solid piece of billet aluminum and chrome-plated; taillights are Prowler. Wheels are Billet Specialties.
