Lot #5050 - 1940 Packard Super 8 convertible Victoria. Owned and restored by James Hollingsworth, the Author of the book "Packard 1940, A Pivotal Year." Starting with an excellent authentic original, using many NOS factory original parts. It was completely restored to show and drive. The Classic Car Club of America awarded it a First Place in National competition and has been driven on a CCCA Caravan, 1,000 miles without incident. Paint finish in correct original Centennial Blue and equipped with 356cid engine, deluxe steering wheel, heater, defroster, fender skirts and Cormorant with hi-speed gears. Drive anywhere at freeway speeds. 2,160 miles since restoration.
