Lot #362.2 - This magnificent show truck is a brand new build with only test miles. It is a combination of a First Series 1955 Chevy truck and a modern Corvette. Everything on this truck is brand new. Thousands of hours were spent on this rotisserie restoration. The undercarriage is highly detailed. The entire body is steel except the rear fenders. Many modifications were made to the body such as the top was chopped 3", the hood was pancaked, the drip moldings and door handles were shaved, electric tonneau cover, smoothed bed, exhaust cut outs in running boards, custom tail and brake lights. The beautiful custom blue metallic pearl paint is stunning. The exterior is complimented by a custom gray leather interior. The dash, seats, door panels, console and overhead console have all been custom made. Some interior upgrades include Haneline gauges, Lokar pedals, Blazer power seats, polished IDIDIT tilt steering column and steering wheel, power windows, remote door openers, remote tonneau cover, air conditioning and sound system with molded door speakers. The engine compartment is extremely detailed with a smoothed firewall and inner fenders that have been painted the same color as the exterior. The Corvette LT1 engine has been rebuilt with high end internal parts and runs excellent. The custom engine cover and intake system have also been painted the same color as the truck. The aluminum radiator keeps it cool. Everything is very neat and organized. The engine is coupled with a rebuilt 4L60 automatic transmission. The power is transferred through the rebuilt Corvette rear end. The frame was custom built and powder coated silver. All the suspension is Corvette front and rear. It has Air Technologies adjustable shocks for ride height. Corvette power disc brakes are at all four corners. The 7" Oasis booster and Corvette master cylinder have been placed under the dash to keep engine compartment free of clutter. The truck is wrapped in Coys polished wheels that are 18" in the front and 20" in the rear.
