Lot #952 - Model 6267SX, 365cid/325 hp V8 with dual 4 barrel carburetors, Sabre wheels, solid boot cover, total production 1800, with 4-speed Hydra -Matic transmission. The most Fabulous Caddy of the Fifties, this car represents the epitome of the '50's Cadillac look with its big Dagmar front bumpers, tremendously sexy rounded rear quarters, and the sporty free standing fins. The car boasts electric seats, top and trunk, power steering, windows and antenna, 3 Eldorado horns, autronic eye, an Alpine 6 CD changer (mounted in the trunk), poly suspension bushings and original batwing air filter. I purchased this car in 1994. The car came out of the well known Newell Coach Collection. Recent restorations have been made under the direction of Alan Taylor Co. of Escondido, CA and Vintage Auto Restoration of Henderson, NV and includes the following items that have been rebuilt; Convertible top motor and switch, power trunk switch, water pump, wheel cylinders, front suspension overhaul, and carburetors. New items include; wide whitewall radials with full sized spare, dash and leather, carpeting and mats, front and rear leather seats, convertible top and pads, side window glass, brakes, drums, master cylinder, booster, exhaust, radiator and battery. The 1957 Biarritz is a piece of design history. The car has won numerous awards in the San Diego area and spent 5 months on loan to the San Diego Automotive Museum. The car drives like a dream and will be a dream to own.
