Lot #534.1 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CONVERTIBLE STREET ROD
Lot #534.1 - This sensational '57 Bel Air Resto-Rod is a show-stopping piece that gets noticed without having to scream with loud paint or gimmicky graphics. It is finished in Dusk Pearl Metallic that was actually an original color for these in '57's. The interior has kept some of the best parts of its stock look, but is finished in grey leather with a full custom audio system, Billet steering wheel, Billet door handles, aluminum pedals, a custom center console, power windows, full modern gauges, and, of course, seatbelts. The suspension is a fully modern independent set-up with fully polished components, Jaguar racing-style independent rear end with inboard disc brakes, drilled and vented front discs clamped by Wilwood calipers, light weight 17" Billet wheels and 4 channel Air Ride Technologies height adjustment. The engine is a LS1 Corvette crate motor and with a high performance exhaust that sounds amazing while remaining very streetable around town. The workmanship is absolutely top level as the car was built for an NBA player at a cost in excess of $150,000.
