Lot #5008 1960 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE
Lot #5008 - It takes a special car to win the Semi-Custom Sports First Place Award at the Grand National Roadster Show and this 1960 Corvette did it in grand style in 2013. Award not included. The following features and details are why this car was voted number one. Starting with a 550hp LS7 wet sump engine, DANA 44 rear end and a 6L80E General Motors transmission with a custom shifter, this combination works with modified C4 suspension components front and rear. The engine compartment is totally custom with serpentine belt drive and all hoses and wires hidden for a great smooth look. Stainless polished exhaust dumps into a split tip exit. The brakes use an electric booster with stainless lines and C4 Grand Sport calipers with drilled and slotted rotors front and rear. Custom built wheels by EVOD using Dunlop Direzza D2101 tires. The detail with the interior and the body of this yellow/dune paint scheme is absolutely beautiful. Custom electric actuators open the hood, trunk and top cover. From bumper to bumper, this car is absolutely detailed to the max along with a custom sound system, rear camera and fine leather interior with a complete wiring harness built especially for this 1960 Corvette custom convertible. This convertible was built by craftsmen with a goal to fabricate the best possible vehicle that is both fast and great looking.
