Lot #168 - The sleek and luxurious 400 Superamerica was specially built for its first owner and exhibited at the 1962 Turin Auto Show prior to delivery. Just 19 second-series Superamerica coupes were built, the design of which was derived from the 1960 Ferrari Superfast II show car. Prior to being donated to the museum, it was owned by two generations of the same family.
