Lot #660.1 - Listed in the Shelby Registry S1066. Shipped to Autos Lima Tambo (Lincoln Mercury Dealer) Lima, Peru 02/23/66. Eventually ending up in the hands of Teodoro Yagali who raced it extensively including the Caminos del Inca, a 3,000 kilometer race. Yagali won the Caminos del Inca in both 1972 and 1973. 1066 remained in Peru, reportedly stored in a tractor trailer until being returned to the U.S. in 2002. Originally a green, automatic car, it was restored as you see it today. A GT350 with a very unique story and one, given its history, that surprisingly still retains its original engine.
