Description
Lot #937 - This is featured in correct Pastel Yellow with correct black and Pearl White vinyl Legendary interior with visors and copy of IBM Build Card from WP Chrysler Museum and original Fender Tag with tape strip. It was originally delivered to Reno Dodge Inc. with ship date of November 8, 1966. It was retains all of its original sheet metal and is a no-accident vehicle. The build date was November 1966 at the Los Angeles, CA facility. It had been in storage for 25 years when it was found. It's equipped with a 440ci high performance V8 and 727 TorqueFlite with correct reproduction dual HEMI muffler, numbers-correct exhaust with correct turn-downs. 8.375/2.94 Highway Cruise Axle and automatic transmission. It also has an AT console with tachometer option that's been restored and is working. Further options include power disc brakes, tinted front windshield, Coronet light package, Coronet radio group (includes Music Master radio), power steering, wheel covers and 3-speed wiper date-correct (restored). Everything works, restored correct. It underwent a four-year restoration with photos and 3" three-ring binder of restoration receipts. It's ahd a bottom and top restoration, the entire suspension was removed and bottom painted correct. Some undercoating remains showing the original sheet metal. The engine accessories are date-correct; alternator, intake, carburetor with R/T correct dual snorkel air cleaner, wiper motor and exhaust. Everything was with stored car and not replaced date codes. There have been only two modifications to the original vehicle. It has new vintage-correct Magnum 500 wheels with Chrysler inserts and sized-correct white letter wide BFGoodrich tires and a MBP front disc power brake conversion package was installed for drivability. It has less than 500 miles since four-year restoration. Correct restored dash, radio, gauges and 1967 console with correct plates. This was a California/Nevada vehicle its entire life and was located in the high desert of Northern California near Reno.
