Lot #5056 - This '68 BOSS 429 Mustang has been custom built from the ground up and rotisserie restored with all receipts in a binder going with the car. The PPG custom Deep Impact Blue Deltron top of the line paint with Wimbledon White stripes and clearcoat has been wet sanded and buffed (including the bottom) to show quality by Amherst Classic Cars. For cruiser comfort, it has classic heat and air conditioning, navigation, DVD/CD player, Bluetooth, and displays for outside temperature, compass and backup camera. The interior of the car is custom built with Ultraleather and faux ostrich by Sullivan Upholstery. This car handles very well with its Heidts independent power front suspension with coilover shocks and Heidts 4 link rear suspension. For greater stopping power it also has 4-wheel power Wilwood disc brakes with polished calipers. The entire interior of the car is covered in Dynamat for a quiet ride. It also has a Dakota digital dash, Flaming River stainless steel steering column, floor mounted emergency brake, fake "Go-Baby-Go" button. The car has working brake coolers, power windows and power top finish the cabin. The whole exhaust system from headers back is 3" diameter polished ceramic aluminum powdercoated by Advanced paint Technologies. It also has LED sequential tail lights and all six PIAA lights in the front with turn signals tucked in the fog lights to be road compliant. Has Moser third member with Trac-Loc differential with 3:90 posi-traction mounted in a Ford 9" to finish off the suspension. This custom Mustang has a Jon Kasse Boss 429 engine built to his specifications and dyno tested at 620hp with documentation by Medina Motorsports. The transmission is a Tremec T-56 6-speed with double overdrive transmission, steel bell housing, billet flywheel and McLeod RXT twin clutch rated for 1000hp. She also has a 22-gallon stainless steel gas tank, Budnik polished stainless steel steering, K&N air filter. The frame is double boxed welded with 3/16" thick steel reinforcement and frame ties from Heidts to handle this massive horsepower. This car is built to drive in comfort, has over 250 miles on it and all the bugs worked out.
