Description

Lot #781 - Presenting a beautiful example of a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 with W32 upgrades. It is the original color combination and retains the original matching numbers engine. This car went through a complete frame-off restoration. Everything on this car was restored or replaced. Most of the sheet metal including the floors, quarters, fenders and trunk were replaced. It was then painted the original Platinum Sliver paint Code 69B on the Trim Tag. The black hood stripes and black vinyl top were added to enhance the beauty. It sits on original style SSII 14" wheels that have been restored with BFGoodrich radial T/As. This car has a great look and attracts a lot of attention. The exterior is complimented with a beautiful black interior. It has the Rally Pac with Tic-Toc gauges and the factory radio works excellent. All of the wiring was replaced. Such items as the dash, seats, door panels, center console, arm rests, sport steering wheel and glass are in great condition. The trunk compartment is neat and clean. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. It retains the original matching numbers 400 engine. It is equipped with a 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and Ram Air setup which works excellent. The engine is cooled by a heavy duty factory radiator. The engine breathes through stock manifolds and Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers. The engine is coupled with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.42 gears. It also is equipped with power steering and power brakes. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed. The frame was taken off, sand blasted and painted the original black color. All new suspension components were either replaced or rebuilt to deliver a great ride. This is one great looking and driving muscle car.
