Lot #938.2 - This 1970 Camaro Z/28 features a matching numbers 350/360hp LT1 V8 engine. It is equipped with a 4-speed manual M22 transmission. The vehicle is Classic Copper with tan cloth interior. A meticulous restoration was completed in 1991 with only a couple thousand miles driven since completion. The carpet, door panels and headliner are still original components, everything else has been replaced with only NOS parts. This Camaro has been carefully maintained through the years and still drives like a new car. The matching numbers engine was also rebuilt at the same time as the restoration and still runs like a champ. The rest of the drivetrain is also the original matching numbers equipment the car was born with. As a true 63,000 documented original mile car, documentation is important, and this car has a lot of it. We currently have the following 100% original documentation: warranty book, Build Sheet, Protect-O-Plate, bill of sale, pre-delivery checklist, owner's manual and consumer information guide. This car was also featured in Camaro Performers magazine in 2002 and a copy goes with the car. This Camaro was produced in the Van Nuys GM assembly plant in California during the first week of April, 1970. It was sold new on April 30, 1970 from Brown and Hoeye Chevrolet out of Mesa, Arizona.
