Description

Lot #632 - Originally sold in Salt Lake City, UT, this Mach 1 has some very low number statistics that can be seen on the Elite Marti Report. This particular Mach 1 is done nicely in the correct Bright Blue metallic paint and is an M Code car that has its original 351 Cleveland engine along with its correct 4V closed chamber heads. It is an original 4-speed car that has been upgraded with a new Tremec TKO 600 5-speed 30% overdrive transmission. Along with the factory installed competition suspension, it also has the heavy duty 9" rear end with Traction-Lok differential and upgraded 3.79 gears. The rear brakes have been upgraded to discs. The strong running 351 Cleveland engine, as well as the remaining components in the drivetrain all have less than 10,000 miles on them. The engine was balanced during the rebuild and some upgrades that include ceramic coated headers, 2 1/4" exhaust with an X-pipe, precise machining and all new parts were used. The interior came from the factory in Bright Blue and includes the high back blue knit vinyl bucket seats, tachometer instrumentation group, Hurst shifter and a modern Kenwood stereo system with MP3 capability. Other features include power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, color keyed rear spoiler and bumpers, and color keyed racing mirrors, NASA type hood scoops, competition suspension along with brand new BFGoodrich tires and added Magnum 500 wheels. The car comes with a folder full of receipts from the build as well as the Elite Marti Report documentation.
