Douglas writes, "Like so many millions of other people, I was sorry to hear about June, but it brought back many present memories of when we were working together... Think of the joy of pleasent memories and forget the pain of the unpleasant ones... You have given so much to the world and the world shares your grief. I hope we can get together again and I can sing to you 'A Boy Named Sue'. Nicely signed, Kirk, at the conclusion in black ink. Douglas and Cash co-starred together in the 1971 western A Gunfight, and developed a friendship with each other over the course of filming. 18.5 x 26.5 cm. (7.22 x 10.34 in.) NO RESERVE.
